We fitted the 1996 HST FOS and the 1985 IUE ultraviolet spectra of the DB pulsating star PG1351+489 with theoretical models for the flux curves as functions of wavelength, to obtain the best values for Teff and log g for this star. We found Teff = 24018 ± 280 K and log g = 7.70 ± 0.06 for the HST data and Teff = 22470 ± 262 K and log g = 7.78 ± 0.06 for the IUE data. The fitting also allowed the determination of the distance of the star: for a radius of R=9000 km, consistent with this mass and temperature, we found a distance of 181± 7 pc for HST data and 169 ± 31 pc for IUE data.
