Data on the analyses of several kinds of meteorites in the British Museum are presented. Partial analyses of 30 iron meteorites are reported. Two procedures were used to study stony meteorites - Prior's scheme, with colorimetric determination of some elements, used for analysis of three meteorites, and a chlorination technique used for the analysis of nine meteorites. This latter technique comprises a magnetic separation followed by chlorination of the magnetic and nonmagnetic fractions which permits the separate analysis of sulfide, low-nickel metal plus schreibersite, high-nickel metal, and silicate plus phosphate and oxides. Analyses of 12 mineral separates are also given.
