The problem of determining universal time from observations with a long-baseline radio interferometer is investigated. It is proposed that an interferometer which detects emission from two radio sources with equal zenith distances be used for this purpose. The accuracy of the expected results is evaluated, and conditions under which these results could be obtained are discussed.
