Scientific paper

The surfaces of minimum energy have been constructed in the noncircular restricted three-body problem, which are a generalization of the surfaces of zero velocity known in the circular problem. The Hill stability, conditional stability, and instability criteria have been established. Some astronomical applications of the results obtained are considered.
