We propose to perform 3*20ks XMM observations of the HMXB IGR J19140+0951 to unveil the physical processes underlying the observed spectral variabilities, and to determine the true type of the system (OB vs Be). The source is highly absorbed, and show some possibly narrow iron line, both features are seen to vary from one observation to another. We require XMM-Newton observations with the aim to accurately constrain the width of the iron line, precisely study the variability of the intrinsic absorption, study the presence of the X-ray pulsations. The advantage of performing a monitoring is to allow us to study the dependence of the spectral properties of the source on long time scale, and with respect to its position along its orbital period.
