We report on our progress toward an updated planetary phase curve for the highly irradiated extrasolar planet upsilon Andromeda b. Our Spitzer/MIPS 24 micron observations extend over 1.5 orbits of the planet and are targeted to more precisely characterize the temperature distribution on the planet's surface and the longitudinal offset, if any, of the planet's "hot spot" from the substellar point.
