A catalog of 226 small-diameter objects with strong emission lines in M33, and 19 in a 55 x 55 arcmin field centered on IC 1613, is presented based on GRENS plates obtained with the 3.6-m Canada-France-Hawaii telescope in Hawaii. Among the objects found are small H II regions, compact parts of H II regions, and Wolf-Rayet stars. Several new planetary nebula candidates in M33, and the first discovery of a planetary nebula in IC 1613, are reported. The present survey could verify as actual planetary nebulae only 70 percent of those suggested by Ford (1983).
