Cosmic Rays: Variations
Scientific paper
A description is given of a device for studying short-period variations of the different components of cosmic rays in the atmosphere (with periods from 1 min to several hours). The device records the charged component of cosmic rays, the photon component, and the neutron flux in the atmosphere. Preliminary data of a 7-day flight of the device from July 17 through July 25, 1987, which took place at the middle latitudes at an altitude of 25 - 35 km, are given.
