High-precision VBLUW photometry of HD105056 (ON9.7Iae) are presented, providing a photometric period (1.73600 + or - 0.00025 d) which is less than that found previously. The intrinsic scatter around the orbital light curve, caused by the microvariations, is found to have a characteristic time scale of 3.5420 + or 0.0005 d. The total range of the microvariations is shown to be significantly larger than that for other stars of the same temperature.
