We are studying the nature and the spatial distribution of ~80 supernova remnants (SNRs) in the Magellanic Clouds (MCs). A multi-frequency comparison of these sources involves the latest radio, IR, optical and X-ray surveys with angular resolution of ~1'. Their morphology, birth rate and overall properties are investigated and compared with SNRs in our Galaxy and other galaxies. In this paper we are presenting initial results from two SNRs in the Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC). .
