Scientific paper

An interpretation is attempted of the seasonal-latitude dependence of the ratio of the concentrations of O to N2 at the 120 km altitude which are given in the empirical models of atmospheric composition, produced for various levels of solar activity by OGO-6 and ESRO-4 satellites. The interpretation is made within the scope of the nonsteady state diffusion-photochemical model taking into account vertical movements for high and low fluxes of solar emission which dissociates the O2.
