"CLEAN" is an excellent non-linear method of image restoration. The particuliarities of using "CLEAN" for small image restoration is analysed. According to the basic "CLEAN" theory an improved "CLEAN" algorithm is presented, which is successful to small image restoration. Comparisons show that the improved "CLEAN" algorithm is characterized by faster running speed and better effect than the method of filtering of equal power spectrum.
