The recombination line H 167α has been observed in 21 selected positions of the H:: region S252. The T*e and VLSR dependence on the position has been studied and related to the morphology of the region where the exciting star is at the center of the ionized gas and a molecular cloud is located on the west border. There is an increase of T*e from the west to the east side which can be only partially explained by a density model. The VLSR shows a decrease from the molecular cloud to the outer ionized gas. This trend qualitatively agrees with a champagne model of a gas flow from the surface of a molecular cloud.
