An expedition solar telescope was developed to perform simultaneous photographic observations of the solar atmosphere in two spectral ranges with simultaneous image quality analyses. The telescope offers angular resolutions of about 1 arcsec at 500 nm and 1.5 arcsec at 393 nm. The telescope design permits simultaneous photographic observations in the continuum (the 550 nm region) and in the K line of Ca II (393.37 nm).
