Given a Newtonian Friedmann-like cosmological model M0, there
exist, locally in time, spatially periodic solutions close to
M0. Such solutions represent inhomogeneous models that are
homogenous and isotropic on a large scale. The Euler-Poisson system is
shown to be linearization stable at M0.
