The variable star V1438 Aquilae is listed as a δ Scuti variable, however it has received very little attention in the literature. It is reported to have a magnitude of V = 7.72, a period of 0.160 days, and an amplitude of 0.07. We have obtained a set of BVR photometry for V1438 Aql using the 16" telescope of the Orson Pratt Observatory on the BYU Campus. Along with the photometry we have obtained 11 spectra, over two observing seasons, with the 1.2-meter telescope at the Dominion Astrophysical Observatory. We will present an analysis of the period and amplitude of V1438 Aql. Additionally, information gathered from the spectral data such as radial velocity, rotational velocity, and an estimated [Fe/H] value will also be presented. We would like to acknowledge the following : The use of the telescopes of the Dominion Astrophysical Observatory, and a Theodore Dunham Jr. Grant for Research in Astronomy.
