Scientific paper

If gamma-ray bursts have a cosmological redshift of order unity, then
their distribution on the sky has a motion-induced dipole moment of
0.0019. One must have a sample on the order of 106 gamma-ray
bursts to make this dipole moment larger than a 3 σ statistical
fluctuation.
