Estimates of the optical transmission function of the atmosphere with exposures of 1 and 20 seconds are obtained at the Mt. Maidanak 1-m telescope with a Lloyd-mirror interferometer under good atmospheric conditions. The results confirm that astroclimatic conditions exist at Mt. Maidanak which make it possible to obtain a resolution of FWHM = 0.3 arcsec in the long exposure regime.
