We give an elementary proof of Grothendieck's non-vanishing Theorem: For a
finitely generated non-zero module $M$ over a Noetherian local ring $A$ with
maximal ideal
$\m$, the local cohomology module $H^{\dim M}_{\m}(M)$ is non-zero.
