Planetary Nebulae: General, Catalogs

Scientific paper

We have updated Kaler's original catalog of relative emission line strengths observed in planetary and diffuse nebulae and have made it available through both the World Wide Web at http://ra.stsci.edu/ELCAT.html and the AAS CD-ROM series. The new version contains data on 1020 planetary nebulae in the Galaxy and in the Magellanic Clouds and other galaxies. In spite of being restricted to planetary nebulae, it is 3.5 times the size of the original catalog. (SECTION: Interstellar Medium and Nebulae)
