A fast, accurate method for obtaining atmospheric carbon dioxide transmission functions for the 15-micron band is presented. Tables of transmissivitiess for CO2 mixing ratios of 330 and 660 ppmv on standard pressure grids comprising geopotential heights ranging from 0 to 80 km and using standard temperatures are included. An algorithm for interpolating from these values to any desired temperature profile and to any other pressure grid is detailed.
