The center of M31 is widely believed to contain a massive black hole embedded in an eccentric stellar disk (Tremaine 1995). Full determination of the characteristics of the disk has been difficult due to degeneracies in the free parameters. I present a new dynamical model of the disk in the innermost 4" of the center of M31. The model includes the black hole and the self-gravity of the disk. An orbit superposition method combined with existing HST photometry and kinematic observations is used to constrain the mass of the central black hole and find best fitting values for the mass-to-light ratio and pattern speed of precession of the eccentric disk. This Schwarzschild-type model will serve as the basis of a future model using a made-to-measure approach.
