We present first results of our IRAF-based automatic data-reduction pipeline, which was originally conceived for STELLA-I, a robotic 1.2m automatic telescope with a high-resolution fixed-format echelle spectrograph, but can easily be adopted for different instruments. It is currently being tested using VLT/UVES data. The resulting spectra exhibit S/N ratios exceeding those received with the UVES pipeline.
