Comprehensive information about toponymy, morphology, selenographic coordinates, and sizes of lunar objects was incorporated in the lunar nomenclature data base described here. The data base was construct ed in the form of a relational-type logic structure. The nomenclature data were systematized in the following categories: type of lunar relief, origin and year of naming, and bibliographic information about scientists whose names were given to lunar objects. A density map of the named craters of different diameters was generated.
