Observations of Comet Kohoutek at decameter wavelengths from December 25, 1973 to January 16, 1974, are described. Measurements of absorption of cosmic radio emission in the atmosphere of the comet were performed at 12.6 MHz. Observation conditions were unfavorable, so that data from only one day were suitable for processing. The trend of the tracking curve is in qualitative agreement with the change in orientation of the comet relative to the radiation pattern of the telescope, but cannot be accounted for quantitatively on the basis of generally accepted assumptions regarding the physical parameters of cometary atmospheres. A simple spherically symmetric model of Kohoutek's ionosphere is discussed.
