Scientific paper

The paper examines the possibility of using data from a chain of Antarctic stations to carry out magnetic-variation sounding in the field of ionospheric currents of the Southern Hemisphere. Data obtained from the Antarctic Geophysical Polygon Project are examined. It is found that the data can be used to perform cross-correlation studies and, in particular, magnetic-variation surveys.
