Scientific paper

Results on intergalactic dust matter are considered, and the nonequivalence of the findings of Tarraro (1974, 1977) and Zabierowski (1985, 1988) is demonstrated. It is suggested that preparation of plates by technically uniform procedures would allow the intergalactic obscuration to be inferred from pseudo-indices. The contribution from supermassive prestars or population III stars to the abundances of elements is considered.
