The Newtonian constant of gravitation G is analyzed with respect to physical and astronomical constants to derive the relationships for a revised gravitational constant. The expressions relate G to the dimensionless ratio C/4pi developed by the author (1992) and thereby to the permeability of a vacuum, the Compton wavelength of an electron, the solar-earth gravitational potential difference, the strict physical potential, and the Einstein value of the gravitational redshift of an ideal H atom's Lyman continuum. The gravitational constant is shown to agree with the value by Cohen and Taylor (1987) and is equal to 6.67197926 x 10 exp -11 cu m/kg/sq s.
