The optical spectrum of the WC6 star HD92809 is briefly described and a terminal velocity of the expanding WC6 envelope of 2100 km per second is determined from this spectrum. The ring-shaped nebula is proposed to be associated with the WC6 star with its density structure being the result of the WC6 star wind and ambient interstellar matter interaction. Using this hypothesis, the mass swept into the nebula, and the age of the nebula are computed as a function of the initial density and rate of mass loss of the WC6 star.
