In this paper we use the ``burst-injection model'' of Qian et al. to analyze the evolution of the two mm-radio outbursts in 1991/93 in PKS 0528 + 134. Comparison is made between the model and observed light curves at 12 frequencies between 230 GHz and 2.3 GHz. The model explains the observed variation quite well over a wide frequency range of ~ 50 : 1.
