Globular Clusters: Galaxy, Globular Clusters: Classification

The authors study various properties of the Milky-Way globular clusters. It is found that their various characteristics can be divided into five groups. Considering possible correlations among the characteristics belonging to different groups the authors conclude that a minimal set of independent parameters may form: the structural parameters (total mass, limiting and core radii), the age, the chemical composition and the parameters of the galactocentric orbit.
