We examined the δ Scuti variable V873 Herculis using both photometry and spectroscopy. A total of 24 nights of photometry were obtained with the David Derrick 0.4-m telescope from 2002 to 2008. From this photometric data we determined a significantly different new period and a Fourier period solution for V873 Her. In addition, we obtained 21 spectra of V873 Her from 2002 to 2004 using the 1.2-m McKeller Telescope of the Dominion Astrophysical Observatory. From this data we determine a spectral type, a metal estimate, a rotational velocity and radial velocities. These results will be presented.
