Solar Radio Bursts: Fine Structure, Solar X-Ray Flares: Hard X Rays, Solar Microwave Bursts

Scientific paper

The authors have analyzed the solar burst event of 1992-06-07 using both the HXR data from "YOHKOH" satellite and the radio data at 2840 MHz observed at Beijing Observatory. The results show that there are two time scales for the impulsive components during the pulse phase. The larger scale impulses are found to be correlated with a series of variations in the HXR images of the source region. Based on a discussion of the mechanism of HXR and microwave radiation, the authors finally present a physical picture comprising loop-loop interaction and MHD oscillation modulation.
