Time Determination: Errors

The Global Position System (GPS) has been widely used. However, the SA disturbance od GPS degrades the accuracy to civil users, so it is important to reduce the SA errors. The properties of SA noise of GPS are discussed and a mathematical model of SA is established. Because the model is nonlinear, a Kalman filter is nessecary. The description of the state vectors for the time difference equation is established. Based on the discret state equation the effect of SA disturbance on the frequency calibrating and timing can be weakened with the Kalman filter method.
