An all-latitude computer-controlled automatic-prism astrolabe consisting of a TV camera, a processor, a mirror and its inclination sensors, levelling drives, and azimuthal guidance is presented. The selection of stars for observation and the sorting and processing of data on them are described. The fix accuracy provided by measurements of 30 to 40 stars in one hour is about 0.3 arcsec.
