Scientific paper

A computer algorithm for reducing the computation time for a Discrete
Fourier Transform is presented. It is shown that the algorithm reduces
computation time by a factor of 4-6 with no significant loss of
accuracy. The FORTRAN code for the algorithm is given in an appendix.
