The camera described here has been designed for the atmospheric windows between 1 and 5 microns. By using a self-achromatic lens, chromatic difference of focus is corrected and the image spread is less than 35 microns over the whole spectral region and at the same focal plane. Configurations are given for pixel sizes of 35 and 60 microns, seeing discs of .5 and 1 arcsec, and telescope diameters of 4 and 8 m.
