We report results of a 23-year VLA campaign to monitor the flux densities of compact radio sources with the goal of establishing an accurate radio flux density scale. The scale is based upon the semi-absolute scale of Baars et al. (1977) for frequencies below 10 GHz, and upon emission models of the planets Mars and Venus for frequencies above 2 GHz. The sources included in this program are the extra-galactic sources 3C48, 3C123, 3C138, 3C147, 3C196, 3C286 and 3C295, the galactic planetary nebulae NGC6572 and NGC7027, the star MWC349, and the planets Venus, Mars, Uranus, and Neptune. Observations were made at all the VLA's frequency bands from 73.8 MHz to 43 GHz. Included as a byproduct of this program are the temporal variations and polarization properties for all sources. We will present convenient expressions to allow accurate computation of the spectral flux densities of the non-variable, and slowly variable sources in our list.
