The appearance of a gas-rich disk galaxy which has suffered from violent tidal interaction with another galaxy long after the encounter is studied. Numerical simulations with self-gravity taken into account have indicated that the morphological changes of the perturbed galaxy generate a large random motion in its stellar disk component. Self-gravity plays a major role in this dynamical heating. A test-particle model has been found to acquire little random motion in encounters with the same conditions. Furthermore, it has been found by cloud-particle simulation that interstellar gas clouds are driven to the nuclear region by the changing gravitational field associated with the morphological changes. Several Gyr after the closest approach of the perturber, the stellar component lacks any clear structures such as spiral arms, due to the stabilizing effect of the large random motions, whereas active star formation is expected to occur in the nuclear region. These properties are observed in many amorphous galaxies, so that galaxy-galaxy interaction seems to be a possible formation mechanism of these galaxies.
