Over the years, the tide has been turning to the shores of science, mathematics and technology education. But rather than having educators brace themselves for a tsunami, the Amazing Space program has been trying to head off the wave. How? By giving educators what they want and need, science, mathematics and technology curriculum support materials developed by the experts - educators and scientists. The Amazing Space program is unique in that it takes the best of all worlds, teachers who have the classroom experience, scientists who have the background science knowledge, graphic artists who can create a teacher and student-friendly interface, and programmers who tweak and grind behind the scenes, wraps them up in an intensive, five week summer program and turns out some of the most innovative curriculum support materials on the face of the Earth. This poster will provide a glimpse of how activities are developed as well as an opportunity to find out about future Amazing Space activities.
