In an earlier paper on the electromagnetic fields and particle densities around a rapidly rotating magnetic neutron star surrounded by a significant plasma density it was assumed that the ratio of inertial forces to electromagnetic forces was small. The differential equation for the vector potential of the field then represented the lowest term of an expansion in this ratio; the omission of the inertial force was reflected in the indeterminacy of electron and ion velocities in the solution. These velocities are now determined by including a first-order term for inertial force and solving by numerical methods. Large particle energies seem to be unlikely until well outside the light cylinder, since within it they would require nearly complete charge separation.
