Attention is given to the formulation of algorithms which, based on the analytical theory of celestial mechanics and astrodynamics, can be applied to problems of celestial geodesy. The theory of planetary motion, semi-analytical methods for satellite orbit calculation, and the photogrammetric processing of photographs taken from satellites, are discussed among other topics.
