Scientific paper

The paper examines the production rates of Al-26 and rare gases in Allende, Bereba, and Juvinas. The production rate of Ne-21 from Al is determined; the He-3, Ne-21, and Ar-38 exposure ages of the eucritic pyroxenes agree suggesting complete cosmogenic gas retention. The eucritic feldspars have lost virtually all He-3 and most of the radiogenic He-4. An equation is derived which reproduces all of the measurements of Al-26 within 15% accuracy and also measures the average values in ordinary chondrites without a recourse to unusual cosmic-ray effects.
