A didactical experience on introduction of history of astronomy and cosmology in Italian high schools is presented. Aims and difficulties are underlined, bringing into evidence that through these topics one can introduce students into the processes of modelling, giving an idea of the cosmic validness of physical laws, making also many links with social vicissitudes and philosophical theories.
