It is shown that the magnitude of the changes in the periods (rates of change of the periods) of radiation from pulsars depends on their characteristic age. With age these changes proceed more slowly. It is also shown that there is a relationship between the changes in the period of the radiation and the period. This relationship becomes closer as pulsars evolve with age.
