A grid of stellar evolutionary tracks, differing in mass (1 to 5 solar mass) and metallicity (1 to 1/16 Solar), have been constructed to examine asymptotic giant branch (AGB) and planetary nebula nucleus (PPN) evolution. Mass loss has been included during the AGB and subsequent evolutionary phases. The calculations are complete from the main sequence to avoid any unnecessary assumptions in the initial models. The tracks remain continuous through the AGB-PNN transition phase and into the PNN regime, and no effort is made to manipulate the helium-shell flash cycle phase at the end of the AGB.
