A Stars, Infrared Spectra, Near Infrared Radiation, Shell Stars, Stellar Envelopes, Stellar Spectra, B Stars, Balmer Series, Emission Spectra

Spectroscopic observations in the near-infrared of a number of Ae and A
shell stars are presented. It is shown that shells can be detected
through the enhancement of the lambda 7773 line and through other
spectroscopic criteria.
