The planetarium theater has evolved over the years from a star projector in the center of a round room to a complex, immersive experience. Planetarium presentations can range from live lectures to fully produced multimedia products that use well-written scripts, music, art, astrophotography, animations, and the human voice to create effective and approachable stories.
This poster presentation discusses the ways that the arts and music combine with science and good writing to give audiences a better appreciation of the beauty of astronomy and astrophysics.
More information about specific planetarium presentations and show production best practices can be found at our website.
