In the paper "Advection-dominated Accretion and the Spectral States of Black Hole X-Ray Binaries: Application to Nova Muscae 1991" by Ann A. Esin, Jeffrey E. McClintock, and Ramesh Narayan (ApJ, 489, 865 [1997]), an incorrect version of equation (4) was printed. The correct version of the equation is shown below.
