Further confirmation of galaxtic reddening, E(B-V) results of Teerikorpi (1978, 1981) for ScI galaxies and quasars is obtained by examination of close pairs in the sky, the Lick counts, and the counts/NH I ratio. With and without the deviating point, 0.06 and 0.04 arcmin estimations for the E(B-V) data standard error agree well with the previous 0.04 arcmin estimate. The compact dust clouds are not revealed by the Lick counts at the 0.5 deg resolution, indicating that they are either quite small, or distant. The predicted counts/NH I ratio is obtained, however, indicating that the reddening describes the division of dust in the Local Spiral into compact clouds and a more diffuse medium.
